Why choose us

Real work. Honest pricing.

You get the owners

Locally owned means the people who quote your job are the people who show up to do it. No call center, no middleman, no runaround.

SealMaster-certified materials

Professional-grade sealer and hot-pour crack sealant — not the buckets from the hardware store aisle.

Everything in writing

Itemized quote up front. And after every job, a free condition report with photos, so you can see exactly what was done and what to watch.

Built for Colorado

Prep and materials chosen for Western Slope conditions — high-altitude sun in July, freeze-thaw in January.

From the owners

Two owners.
One standard.

MBBI is owner-run by Carlos and Misael — no franchise, no call center. Between them, they've spent years building homes and overseeing construction across the valley, and they started MBBI to do pavement the same way they do everything: prep it right, put the price in writing, and stand behind it. When you call, you get the owners.

Misael Valle

Co-Owner

Misael has spent close to ten years in home improvement across the valley — roofing, framing, flooring, tile, cabinetry, gardening, the whole job. There isn't much on a work site he hasn't done with his own hands, and that's the standard he brings to every lot MBBI seals. A West Valley resident and father of two girls, he spends his time off on family trips, camping, and getting the kids outdoors.

Carlos Aguirre, co-owner of MBBI

Carlos Aguirre

Co-Owner

Carlos is an architect who's spent the last four years supervising commercial and residential projects across the valley — making sure the work matches the plan down to the spec. Before moving here, he built and ran businesses of his own. He's a father of two, a boy and a girl, and spends his weekends in the mountains camping, hunting, and chasing outdoor sports.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

Free assessment

We walk your pavement, measure it, and hand you an itemized written quote — within 24 hours, no charge.

Prep & clean

Surface cleaned and edged, oil spots treated. Sealcoat only sticks as well as the prep underneath it.

Seal, fill & stripe

Hot-pour crack sealing, SealMaster sealcoat, and fresh striping — done in the right order, at the right temperatures.

Walkthrough & report

We walk the finished job with you and leave a free written condition report with photos.

The difference

What sealcoat actually does

Gray, faded asphalt is asphalt losing its binder. Here's what a sealed surface does differently.

Blocks UV & oxidation

High-altitude sun bakes the binder out of asphalt until it turns gray and brittle. The sealed layer takes the UV so the pavement underneath doesn't.

Repels water

Water is what turns hairline cracks into potholes. A sealed surface sheds it instead of soaking it in.

Breaks the freeze-thaw cycle

Western Slope winters freeze trapped moisture and pry pavement apart. Keeping water out is what stops that cycle before it starts.

Resists oil & gas

Fuel and oil dissolve bare asphalt. A sealed lot wipes clean instead of staining and softening.

Curb appeal & property value

A deep-black, freshly striped lot reads as a well-kept property — and protecting the asphalt you have costs a fraction of replacing it.

Why it matters

Protect the pavement you already paid for

A repave costs many times what routine sealing does. The math on maintenance is simple — and it's on your side if you start before the damage spreads.

2–3×

How much longer pavement can last with regular sealcoating, industry-wide.

3–10 yrs

Service life of hot-pour crack sealant — versus 1–2 years for cold-pour products.

Every 2–3 yrs

The recommended reseal interval to keep asphalt protected through Colorado freeze-thaw.
